Well a M109 and a M35 do have the same cab, chassis and drive train called the M44. Put a wrecker bed on your truck and it would be a M108. There are pipe trucks and drilling trucks and even fire trucks all built on the M44 cab and chassis.

Off road diesel is ultra low sulfur also. It is no different than on road except for the red dye. The only advantage in running it would lower purchase cost. Nobody around here sells it cheap though.

Why are you leaving Florida out? I can't count on my fingers how many Florida members have been up to the SSGR. It my be tough to get a large rally together in the spring. Most folks have to save up all year just to make it to the SSGR. Getting together with your local guys for a small gathering...
