The engine was special too, it was the only truck with the "-2" engine that lacked the multifuel rating. It made WAY more power than any of the "-1A-D" engines. The last one I saw for sale, they were asking $7500 for it (engine in the can, rebuilt). I sold my truck for $10,000 in an...
My girls are SOOOOOO excited about going again, they had the best time. This event is getting better and better under the AWESOME guidance and leadership of the Highs and others running this show. We are planning on spending an entire week there and start moving in equipment as early as...
I had the M656 of that same truck, it was an absolute joy to drive and had a good turning radius for its size. I believe it would even out-run my HEMTT to 60 with the 385 radials on it.
I'm on my second set of tracks, a third set is over in England being stored in a container by our supplier. I haven't had any track issues so far but you never know when Mr. Murphy will show his ugly head.
A friend of ours told us a story about 2 CVRT going cross country over there in Old...
70 gallon tank! You're kidding right? Try about 25 gallons! The Fox was killed when the MOD changed their mind and decided to go with a tracked recon vehicle. If you drive like a fool (like we all drove as teenagers) you can tip a Fox but not with casual driving.
I've driven and own all you...

That's what I did and a civilian tow vehicle as well, the civilian stuff is more reliable and has a LOT more power. I prefer to keep the mileage down on the MV's.
Mine helping out a new friend I met here on SS.
I have considered getting a HEMAT to haul the Scorpion behind the HEMTT, but other...
You DO NOT want the actual torque specs for the bolts that clamp the wheels together.
BUT
Since you ask: 450-500 ft.lb. <==this allows for proper bolt stretch.
BTW, I'd lubricate the o-rings with silicone grease, normal grease or a non hardening sealer like Rolls Royce developed Hylomar.
