I just had to give it that extra 1/4 turn

Yup, brake light switch. Check out eriks surplus or Saturn for one. Do have fluid draining out? Make sure to bleed the airpark after replacement.

    Deuce road tractor conversion

Ray is the fifth wheel plate lower on the deuce than on the five ton? Just wondering if it would ride more level behind the deuce.

Maybe an hour from catastrophic failure!!

Always seems to be the fronts that burn out. I guess because no axle lube works into the bearings. My fronts where bad too. Glad you found it! I have bad pinions bearings also. Future project.

    M105A2's ending in GA today

Your title to the thread was the problem. Your post was not specific but the title told location, item and time. That was the problem. You could question the quality of items coming out of say Redstone in the course of conversation, but you cannot mention items coming up for or that are open for...

Careful about posting about ongoing auctions. It is against site rules.

I wish I could have seen my cap on the bobber. Forgot to put it on and lost it. I rode ten miles but saw nothing but beer cans.

Sorry, one millionth brake light question

I wish I was at home to post a pic of my solution. I attached a switch to the brake arm. When it is depressed the switch turns on the brake lights. My hydraulic switch was brand new and I still had intermittent lights. Got tired of it.

    Tyndall AFB, FL - recovery

Besides that, if GL let's you tow off the lot, it will have to be with a military tow bar. Need good tow lights and safety chains also. If the truck has dual circuit brakes they can still be fed into the airpacks it will just take more hose and a tee. You'll need 2 of these to hook an air hose...

You can let the clutch out fully in low range with no throttle applied, the governor will keep the engine from stalling if your load is...
