I know that there is a thread of taking 2 M105 frames and making a nice neat double axle camper out of it. I have been searching and looking and looking and searching... Anyone have an idea where I can find the thread???

That is the one I have used several times with success. The first time was in the Deuce and although we 'weren't supposed' to use the gate, the guard let us through. I do remember him mumbling something about 'the guys at the front gate are always changing gates for these guys' as I drove off...
Your in Lauderdale? Try the boat fuel docks, many of them have non-ethanol fuel. Also look for the Conoco or Phillips 66 stations, they offer non-ethanol gasolines, do not know if you have in your area though.
Or possibly a pump to transfer out of one to the other.
The one large tank made from 2: you might want to investigate the guage of the metal to see if it is think enough for such a large tank. Has anyone looked up the CFRs for fuel tanks: metal guage sizes, capacities, etc.? I would not want...
