The first two items I try not to rely on. Lady Luck is a very fickle travel companion and my wallet is not deep enough to use dollars as tools.
I will however have a support vehicle that gets me to the pick-up destination and follows me along with tools, manuals, food, sleeping bags, dogs, etc...
I hear you guys and promise not to just hop in the cab, push the starter button and blast off. As part of a thorough pre-flight inspection all fluid levels will be checked and all drive-line, suspension, and brake components will be inspected as much as possible. If there are any safety-critical...
I am changing my status on this thread from "lurker" to official member. Just paid for a FLU419 in Atlanta that was sold on the big auction site. Seller tried to make money with backhoe services and decided to call it a day. The machine is supposed to drive and be usable. We will see.

The current that any water will conduct between the two FIW sensor electrodes is not enough to trigger a relay. You need to amplify this current with a transistor stage.
I could make you a simple circuit board that includes a buzzer and the relay for the dash lamp. Please PM if interested.
How urgent is this?
We currently live very close to Eastern Surplus and are moving to NC. Will close on real estate in 2 month possibly earlier.
I am going to move a lot of toys so the two rails would not make a dent.
Salem, Alabama - Pickup item and ship via FedEx/UPS
Is anyone picking up a GovPlanet item in Salem, Alabama anytime soon?
I would like to bid on an inverter and have it shipped to Maryland, 21921.
Item weighs 58 lbs and can go via FedEx or UPS.
Please PM.
Thanks BigBison. Agree with the engine hours being more important. Unfortunately GP/IP does not take pictures of the hour counter on the engine anymore.
No luck on today's FLU419 auction. Got outbid on two low mile ones and did not want to take the risk on the ones with thousands of miles on the clock.
For the next try it would be valuable to know what the current FLU419 owners consider acceptable as far a miles on the odometer is concerned...
As FLU farm pointed out, NAPA can help and so can most Fleetpride stores and of course your local hydraulic shop.
There are two types of hose fittings. The swaged ones where you need dedicated equipment and the field replaceable fittings (AN or copy cats) that you can assemble yourself. The...
Greetings everyone,
I am planning to get a FLU419 out of Texarkana. It has to go to either Asheville, NC or to Elkton, MD.
Does anyone have any leads for someone who could transport the FLU419 at reasonable cost?
Thanks.
I would be interested in an evaporator unit and compressor. Planning to use the wheel housing condenser and do the plumbing myself.
When you talk to the vendor suggest that they use two (smaller) 12 Volt fans in the evaporator unit. Wiring them in series would make the unit easily compatible...
