WSUCougarx's M561 Gama Goat Acquisition and Build Thread

Still sounds like something inside is a bit worn. Well at least is will be gold plated when you are done. :)

WSUCougarx's M561 Gama Goat Acquisition and Build Thread

Sounds like worn syncros on the transmission. Does it kick out of Low range or High range, or did you mean that when in low and in gear, when you let off on the fuel, it kicks out of gear?

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

You guys are lucky, I never knew there was a time when mosquitoes didn't bite. But it is more irritating when having them buzz your ears at night. Ordered Wheel O-rings so maybe we can slow the air loss down on the tires. 4 of the 6 are leaking off.

2016 Olympic Flight Museum Air Show - 18-19 June

Wanted to kick this up. The 1SG and I will go clean the area and mow the grass on Wednesday. Hope to also set up the Lg. Wall tent so we have some under cover display area too. Looks like the Desert Storm display is shaping up with an M151A2, M923, M923A1, and an M813, plus the tent display...

    Normandy 6 June 2016 - 72nd Anniversary

Normandie The cemetery is the US Ardenne cemetery in Belgium, lest we forget. The M10 is above LaRoche. The other pictures are in the St. Mere Eglise area. You might note the tower of the church that the paratrooper got hung up on and survived.

    Normandy 6 June 2016 - 72nd Anniversary

Also attended the ceremony at Grainges. 150 or so paratroops ended up there through no fault of their own. Members of both 82 and 101st. It was not a designated area, but it was high ground, so they decided to stay, about 9 June 44, the Germans discovered them and they had 3 battles with over...

4 July 2016 Centralia, WA Summerfest MV display

Will do. I got new camera so have to learn the ins and outs of posting and downloading with it. Haven't taken the time to figure it out yet. Have quite a few pictures from Normandie, that I will need to get up. It wasn't quite as busy this year as at the 70th, but there were still quite a...

    Normandy 6 June 2016 - 72nd Anniversary

The LCI makes more sense right now. If you can talk him into going, the reception he will receive will be stunning. I ended up with 8 days in Belgium and 4 days in Normandie. We hit many of the Normandie museums from Battery Crisbec, a German battery towards the west end of the beaches to...

Its getting closer. Thank you for all the responses. It is okay if the LCI comes, but we may be a bit too far inland.:-D But am trying to get the PBR guys to bring a boat (on a trailer).

    PNW Info Thread!

Many of us may be fairly prepared for disasters such as floods, earthquakes, winter storms, but a question posed today about the training going on around here, if you had 10 minutes to grab and go, what would you take. The point being a good to go, grab bag or box, is a smart investment of time...

PNW- 8TH Annual Chehalis River Valley M/V Gathering

Looks like I am mostly out this year. Doing a display for Vietnam in support of the PBR guys up at the Maritime Festival in Tacoma on Sat. and Sunday. Will try to get out if I can.

    PNW Info Thread!

Way to go Team! As my Belgian friend always tells me, "it is a good thing that you don't have to be good looking to be lucky, because you are very lucky." Will look forward to seeing that rig at one of our events. :D Did you get a tan or green truck?

    Normandy 6 June 2016 - 72nd Anniversary

How are the plans going team? Think we will be there 3 JUNE - 6 June. Tried to get a bit more time, but rooms were booked. Weather this week is in the 60's. Just right.

    PNW Info Thread!

Am sure it will work out, but probably no way that I could get there on the 30th. Will you be able to charge up the air so you can release the brakes?

    PNW Info Thread!

What is your time frame on this? I have a towbar, but am about 80 miles from you and busier than heck this week. Do you also need a tow rig for this mission? There is an MV club up that way, certainly someone could help out.

2016 Olympic Flight Museum Air Show - 18-19 June

Well we wondered where all the spotted owls went when we cut down all their trees. We have Mazama Pocket gophers. They really enjoy french fries and now their diet is being restricted.

2016 Olympic Flight Museum Air Show - 18-19 June

The military show is wide open, but the airshow, their first priority is aircraft. We are relegated to a narrow strip of grass along side the main hangar. It is mostly populated with the displays of the Friends of Willie and Joe, WW2 history group. But we may try to crash it with some Desert...

2016 Olympic Flight Museum Air Show - 18-19 June

The annual Olympic Flight Museum Airshow is coming up, Father's Day weekend, 18-19 June. It is primarily a military aircraft based show and will have some historic Military Vehicles on display as well. Unfortunately ground space is at a premium, due to a couple of endangered species, so we...
