    12.5r20 Continental tires on Deuce?

I like the look of the Continentals. They look like they will do much better on wet pavement than the NDT's. I would be a little concerned about that wider front track increasing the load on the king pins. Maybe the increased stability is worth it though.

    Al's Liner M1009 interior

Just curious, have you had any problems with fumes as the coating dries? I only ask because the M1009 is an enclosed vehicle, as opposed to the bed of a pickup.

    Pressurized Axles?

Now that is a useful search tip. Thanks Cranetruck!

I like the MacGyver patch job on the fuel line!

    Sold a M35a2 a few weeks ago

This guy is an example of the saying, "Profanity is the vocabulary of the ignorant." I'm no choirboy, but after reading the lines about the elephant and the ex-wife, I want nothing to do with this idiot.

    best 5-ton tractor

For mainly off road use, I would go with an M818. Highway use, look into an M915 or a civilian tractor. If you like an automatic with off road capabilities, you can substitute an M916 for the M818. Be aware that you would have to change the fifth wheel on the M916 because it comes set up for...

    Removing spare tire

Regular right hand thread. Ditto on the arm breaking potential.

    air horn bell

I had a horn change from the normal sound to that of a dying goose. Sure enough, one horn had fallen off, but it was still laying on the frame rail. I put it back on and tightened it good and tight, but I like the low strength loctite idea. fat lady sings PS: Welcome to the forum jemjia4!

    At war with my neighbors...

You have to learn to pick your battles. My deuce is uncovered in the "RV parking" in front of my house, but everything else I own is either garaged or tarped on the driveway. I get along with all of my immediate neighbors. I am a homeowner and they are renters, if that makes any difference...

    Can I paint this antenna?

Cool looking antenna Jerry. Today is the summer solstice with the most direct sun of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. Let the M1009 sit in the sun all day and then see if the antenna works. I'm thinking you won't have any problems.

    Un-bob a deuce

Isn't this like trying to undo a circumcision? I suppose it could be done, but ouch.

    Flat Black painted vehicles?

High temperature flat black barbeque paint works great for the exhaust stack and wheels. I have never tried it on any other body surfaces.

    Hemet-Ryan Air Show 6-11-11

I had a young lady here at work ask me if I could sync her i-Pod to her computer so she could download music. I told her that I didn't know how to do that, but that if she wanted to give me some records, I could put them on cassette tape for her. [thumbzup]

    I keep fouling a plug

I would love to have one of the early 4 cylinder Mules!

    I keep fouling a plug

My mule does the same thing except on the drivers side. In my case it is defintely gas fouling. It seems that a little too much choke when starting adds to the problem. When the plug is cleaned, the mule runs great until the next fouling. I was planning to check valve adjustment until I...

    Hemet-Ryan Air Show 6-11-11

Everyone, I've been gone all day, so this is the first time I got to see all of the great photos and Jim's great convoy video. You guys sure looked great from the rear view mirror of my M1009. I looked back every time we went around a curve. Thanks for agreeing to the convoy speed of about 45 so...
