W400 Air Force Ambulance. got some paint on 'er

RE: W400 Air Force Ambulance. got some paint on Very nice! I'd love to own one just like that, or in 3 color NATO.

    towing

Ok guys that's enough. This sort of thing is not very constructive or helpful and tends to leave people with a sour taste in their mouth. Take it to PMs if you wish to continue.

    Dash from M151, Compatible?

Hell, you can put a gauge set together from loose NOS gauges for less than that.

    What is this????

It appears to be a version of the 6x6 Force Protection Cougar but is missing the spare tire (the mount can be seen) which would probably put it over width. EDIT: On closer inspection, I have found other images that share a lot of the characteristics of the vehicle in the post that seem to...

    8x8 APC Identity Question

You are 100% correct, which stands to reason since GPV worked in partnership with FNSS Savunma Sistemleri to produce the Pars(Leopard). The Pars 8x8 is a little unusual due to the fact that all 8 wheels drive and can also be steered. There are also 4x4, 6x6, and 10x10 models made off the same...

    my new deuce, 1994 m35a3

RE: dangerous truck Ok, lets look at the facts here. 1, The comments made about the trucks color are obviously a joke. Anyone who knows Mike or has been an active member of this forum for any length of time can attest to that. 2, The military specs are plain to see, but it's also well known...

    Parade Tops

Just buy an appropirately sized canvas tarp. Many of the surplus dealers have a pretty good selection of the old OD canvas tarps that could be tied to the bows in short order. Here's a 10' x 12' tarp that should work well...

Well.....I just bought a Deuce....tell me what you think.

Nice looking Deuce. Is it just me, or does that Deuce seem to have an extraordinarily large amount of black in it's 3 color NATO pattern?

    Bah! Who needs lift?

    Expansible Van Body Corroded Stuck!

Do you have all the braces and accessories to go with the body? You should just bring that thing on East and park it here. I'll fix it if I get to use it, lol.

H1's on dually hubs. No go!

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: H1 Yeah, that's not bad at all. I just wish someone within 60 miles of me had some I could just go pick up, lol. I can find the tires everywhere, just not the rims. Oh well, I don't have the money to spend right now anyway. Time to play the lottery so I can continue to...

    HEMTT Material Handling Crane Curiosity

I wonder what the Grove and Palfinger cranes weigh though. It's hard to tell by eye, but they seem to be a bit heavier than the average knuckle boom. Also, as Gimpy mentioned, Spicergear put a Grove behind the cab of his Deuce. As I recall he had to do a lot of modifications to the outrigger...

    20 plus mpg 715

Ahhh, I forgot about that! For some reason I was thinking it was one of the other guys. Too much drama to keep track of, lol.

    20 plus mpg 715

Thanks Gimp. I searched a bit over at The M715 zone, but it's almost impossible to find the old info over there now. I knew he had a better shot at getting impressive numbers with the 4BT, 5 speed and the CUCV axles.

Replaced the 882's in-line filter with this:

RE: Replaced the 882 Lol. Honestly, I would consider that more of a pain to change than the stock one.

    20 plus mpg 715

We have that covered too, lol. McInfantry put a 4BT in his M715 but I don't recall if he mentioned what his mileage was.

That kind of what I was thinking...

    The Ramcharger Project

True but I would be reluctant to use 881 since the M881 is a actual vehicle, the M880 with a 28V, 60A generator kit. In the long run, it's probably for the best if I don't try to impersonate a MV more than I have to to get the look I want. In the end, with as much as I'm cutting out of the...
