Interesting. I too have been watching the political BS go back and forth and have been wondering what this could mean for the MV collector. I haven't even really gotten into the MV hobby yet, other than owning my M715 for a short time, but I still dream of a Deuce or 5 ton and would like to...
RE: Re: VA Rally
Good to know, Opie. I wish I could have made the RC trip but one this close I will have to spring for. With any luck I will have sold my Liberty that is draining my finances and have the Ramcharger going full steam by then. I'm keeping my fingers crossed since I had intended...
Yeah, and they also have to meet all 2007 emissions and safety standards, lol. You have got to know nothing about vehicles and owning them to come up with some crap about "technically a 2005".
Ok guys, I know this isn't a MV but I figured it is my ride, and here is where a lot of the pics are so I thought I'd post it here. You guys can move it to Conversations if you want.
Anyway, I've often mentioned my desires to build up a Dodge Ramcharger to CUCV spec or better and now I have...
RE: Re: RE: To camo or not to camo?
I'll have to say 3 color camo as well. While I like the look of plain 383 on some trucks, on some (like the CUCVs) it just looks unfinished.
Hmmm, if it's a Chrysler design, it should have a Mopar engine! The body is probably rejecting the GM junk, and that is why it won't run, lol.
Seriously, if this does turn out to be a Chrysler built prototype, I would be interested in more info on it. What axles are in it? It looks to be a 5...
I don't know if this has come up before but I would be surprised if it hasn't but is there anyway to make the descriptions of the various TMs more descriptive? Some don't have any info on what vehicle they are for and so if you are looking far a manual or doing some research and don't have a a...
Ok, I'm almost positive I have seen a drawing somewhere that gave the dimensions of the Deuce winch in the TMs but after hours of searching and downloading I have yet to find it. Anyone know the TM number offhand or have the drawing they could post in a readable size? I am planning my project...
They are just odd with the up sloping hood and the headlamps out on the fenders. I like the old M35s also, but I think the A3 has a few improvements that make it very interesting and the looks aren't bad really. Sort of like an older International truck you can keep the CTIS though, lol.
One...
That's not really a Pattern I don't think. The Deuces seem to have different markings almost as if they aren't done on a set pattern. Also I don't agree with the use of the odd half round black and sand images on the wrecker in places. The images look identical and would make it easy to pick out.
In his sig he states that it will be a tractor. With that much frame space you could add a communication shelter for a camper/sleeper and still have room for the 5th wheel, lol.
