I have a deuce and a 08 duramax 3500, I drive my duramax. I thought that I could use my bobber for a every day driver but it takes to long to warm up, shut down, drive.......but I would still get one if I were you.
Veterans day parade medford, oregon. I think this will be the last parade for the m916 as im going to put her up for sale. Every time I drive the truck it cost about $200 for a short trip ( fuel+insurance+misc.) a lack luster turn out, starting to wonder if anyone cares about this country...

Ive talked to CHP and they said no CDL required. (I had a nice long chat on the side of I-5 broke down in a M35a2.) The scales will bypass you when you go through. If you need any help in the Medford area let me know. I suggest I-5 to mount Shasta 89-44-395, drove it many of times.
I think flat black is missing the point, one of the big problems is the low top end speed of an A3 (45-50). The result is a truck that is dangerous to drive on the interstate. RIP shooting iron. A top speed of 55-60 would be much safer This thread was started to resolve this issues not make...
If I remember right......there is a heater in the tranny. cant tell you exactly where it is and how it works. I believe its in the tm. If you need a spare tranny let me know, i have 5 take outs for parts.
Have you thought about driving to Seattle and shipping it on a boat. There are lots of members up and down I-5 but once your in Canada your on your own, and I think its cheaper to ship from there if I remember right.
