Anyone here get it??? Went and previewed it today as i was hoping to get it myself. Ended a little higher than i could afford but someone got a great deal IMO. Need any recovery help i'm right down the road :-)
:shock: Good god what the hell is that thing in pic number 3 ????? I will say i sorta like that 10 ton with the extra axle. If there was ever a truck that could handle a load worthy of needing another axle its the ten ton.
Thats pretty much correct except 15 is a bit optimistic. More like 8-12, 12 being the very best you could ever hope to do in a stock truck under better than ideal conditions. About 10 is average it seems.
Not an 818, looks to be an M52 5 ton tractor. Front winch should be rated at 20K lbs. I HIGHLY recommend reading the TM before attempting to do anything regarding starting or moving it.
So let me get this straight. You took a truck with an unknown history and kept driving it as your oil and air pressure dropped to almost nil???? Just thinking out loud here but those are things that need to be investigated ASAP, not when you arrive home. Hope you didn't cook anything by running...
I gotta reseal my rearmost axle as my hubs look just like yours did deuces wild. Not much of a leak but annoying still. Oddly enough when i pulled the axleshaft out of there when i was going to do it there was NO seal at all on the hub flange. No gasket, no silicon, nothing. Put it back together...
