I need a hood transported from Belpre Ohio (across from Parkersburg WV) to Rochester Indiana or someplace we can meet. It is 79 x 38 pallet x 60" high and weighs 360#.

The rear of my M929A2 has four tire flat spots (Goodyear 14.00) that individually don't cause a problem but today I went around a corner and they all aligned together. Not good. It must have been towed at least a short distance without caging or airing up the brake system.
These tires have...
Has anyone built a tandem trailer using M105 axles, dueled up? Picture below is M105 axle with duels.
It appears the springs and perches would work and I could fabricate an equalizer. The air to hydraulic brakes would work on the A3 deuce or a 5 ton too.
I'm beginning to flesh out some changes to my 97 A3 project. It's becoming a 4x4.
Thanks to all who have posted excellent workmanship before (bobbing and various suspension systems) here on SS, that have inspired me. I'll do my best to make a nice machine and tool.
The twist with this...
I need one pallet of 5 tires from Mansfield Wisconsin to Rochester Indiana. Flexible dates but asap.

Edit.....Got them
I have two of these from a GL lot and hope somebody needs them real bad and they are worth lots of money. I'm not holding my breath for the stampede to happen.
Can you help me identify them and the likelihood of getting anyone to buy the two (same part, not a left and right if there is such...
Wanting to remove one rear axle (not shorten frame aka bob however) and want to confirm some things.
I have a donor M105. I expect to use the shorter bed and fabricate toolbox to fill the space. I will remove the bumper-etts(??) to have the open pintle near to the rear axle and align the...
Has anyone made a steel hard top that resembles the OEM hard top? Especially one that a person can get on top of and not damage it. How about diamond plate? Fleebay has a couple of the OEM at extremely high price (beyond my budget).
I have a sheet metal shop nearby that could make a few...
Are you currently working on, running or thinking about a wood-gasification system for an alternative fuel? Does anyone have a wood-gas military vehicle? Or steam?
Does anyone have experience with spring applied hydraulic release (SAHR)(fail safe) brakes? Seems like 5 ton air brakes.... but hydraulic.
I bought 5 foot pedal units, complete with tandem modulating valves and a dual accumulator charging valve, thinking I could adapt them to control a...
I want to bob my A3 and leave the frame full length, then go to 395's or maybe 14.00's or...I bought some of the 450/80/r20 Sand Trail tires and I'm wondering about using them.
They have a steel wheel, 1/2" thickness that I can easily make a weld in adapter to fit the 6 lug (or the ten lug)...
I got my M929 home and it has the remains of a radio (speaker) and the antenna mount. Since I'm not a radio enthusiast, I'm wondering if there is a radio set that would be usable for my civilian use. Any suggestions?
Is someone doing pick ups at Chambersburg, PA? Recovery would be on one or more M105's. .... possibly hold and load on a trailer and or transport (3-4) to Rochester Indiana?
I'm combining two rims to make a 12" wide rim with the 11.25 bolt circle. The dish part is from an MRAP (Hutchison- black with primer) with the correct bolt circle and the outer ring from the rims that came on the 450 Sand Trail tires (tan). The (20) rim bolts all are the same but the ring...
I've read a lot of threads about o-rings and that the M35A3 and larger cousin the 939 combat wheel use the same o-ring. I got some of the 1/4" ones with MRAP steel wheels, which appear to be about 18.5" ID before they are stretched on. I planned on using the NOS ones I have until I saw small...
I've read threads about CTIS until it blends together, but I have a question.
I bought an A3 to fix up and sell and the CTIS will require some work, especially on the wheels. I prefer simplicity and don't need the CTIS but what about a person buying the truck?
It's low miles but does not...
I have a question that I'm having a hard time finding when I read old threads, especially when the pictures and links disappear.
I like the looks of the 5 ton A2 rear rims with the dish out and am wondering what an M35A3 would look like with the dish out. It would seem to make reversing the...
Gents, I searched for PTO on the A3 and discover one may have been driven off of the air compressor, but I cannot find information about taking one off the tranny.
We have an Allison AT1545 apart and I see the access plate (6 screws) that appears to be for a PTO. Not sure on the presence of...
I bought an M35A3 with the usual tranny problem. It came with the OEM tranny (in a box). The prior owner went the route of a used transmission (Allison AT 1545)...which had the same issue after he went to the trouble of installing it.
Now I'm rebuilding the original tranny and the locking...
