    genorator just caught fire help

Right, thats the reg. As long as nothing is shorting and your charge gauge isn't pegged out in the charging direction you should be fine. At the very worst case scenario you pull back over and get that tow, every mile counts on one of those bills.

    genorator just caught fire help

On second thought, the headlights won't last too long without charging, might need to wait for daylight. Depends on how far from home you are.

    genorator just caught fire help

TOW??? run it without the gen hooked up. You don't need any power to drive it. Save yourself a lot of cash.

First off, what are you driving??? Glad you got it before anything else was affected.

    Barking dog?

Dunno what that sound is, but i can tell you the clutch certainly is not air assist. Betting you are just rubbing on the sheetmetal where the petal goes thru the floor or something similar.

Trucks gone wild!! in a DEUCE

Nice showing but next time you need more weight in the back. All that rubber with nothing on it gets squat for traction. A couple tons back there and things may have gone differently.

Repaired front axle leak Im tired.

Can't seem to find those nifty yellow boots on the ODI site. Not yet listed or ???? Need to do the boots on the truck sooner or later and those seem like the option that will need the least attention further down the road.

making small batches of custom parts

Ok, anyone near here with some HEMTT rims handy??? I know some machinists that are real slow and i may just want to at least look at the feasability of making some adapters. If the numbers add up this could work.

    shopping for a snatch block

I believe it does have a zerk, although to be honest i haven't really paid it much attention since i picked it up at aberdeen. Its in the back of the deuce, i'll look at it tomorrow and take a few pics at different angles for anyone interested. I keep hearing of this fabeled "correct" crane...

    shopping for a snatch block

And that appears to be what colemans has. I wasn't too concerned with the whole 5 ton thing anyway. Got it mostly for 2 part line action with the 108. Its rated for 8k lbs so i'm figuring i'm well within safe on that snatch block. I think the data plate wants 2 part line on anything over 5k or...

The flapper is a personal preference thing. You can just paint an old baked bean can black and use that as a cover. The fuel tank has a couple baffles in there so you won't get much from just the filler. No need to remove the sender, just the in tank pump will do, and its a 15 min job, 30 at the...

    shopping for a snatch block

Its a good question m16, i have no clue :-( Just grabbed it for use on the 108. More stuff i don't really need but have anyway.
