Hmm, this in interesting for sure. I think i know what you are referring to but i'm not sure how to explain what i'm thinking, better go look for a pic to show it.
colemans has some nice 5 ton mil snatchblocks for cheap. Had maddawg grab one for me and bring it to aberdeen, thing is sweet :-) weighs a lot. That cheapie just won't take the abuse.

What you described is pretty much the only way to really clean the tank. At least you know your issue now :-) Drain it out and see what ya get, might not be too bad. Could just be a bunch of settled heavy scuzz on the bottom with mostly clean fuel on top. Drain, filter, refill with filtered fuel...
Bet there is a lot of intrest in something like that. Heck, i got a tow guy near here that would give his left....uh...well you know, to have one of those.
More likely than not they will have the primary and not the secondarys in stock. I personally woudn't run it without all the filters in place but thats your call. The o rings are prob OK for another go just check em real well before you take off on a drive. The gov is built into the IP, its not...
Looks like a good time guys. Looks like you got a shot of the club gate BC, gotta keep the hoodlums out ya know, or at least the ones without keys:twisted: rally looks like a fun time, good food and the beginnings of a good bonfire. Sorry i didn't make it guys, next year for sure.
ewwwww, thats gonna cost something to fix. The non turbos are cool in the sheer amount of smoke they make. Not really much slower than the turboed deuces. Its mostly an emissions thing at stock power levels. You can crank up the turboed trucks unlike the non turbos though.
Ah, that explains a lot then, looks to be a non turbo. Nice save. Thanks on the solo congrats, i really need to get back in the air. I sort of got the green iron bug and have been buying trucks instead of flying.
Oh yeah, DON'T remove the stop in the floor. If you do the linkage can go past the point where it returns and the throttle will stick wide open. And i'm sure you don't want that.
Even if they look Ok i would change em, cheap money to rule them out as the issue. Its by far the most common issue with lack of power. Yes you can get them at NAPA. Can't remember the numbers off the top of my head, lemme go check the cross ref chart for ya
Don't have the pic handy so i'll have to link you to the last thread i posted it in.

Here is the solution that Ethan (RIP) came up with. I have been doing the same thing since i got the truck. 7 foot cable...
