Remove them, wire brush the snot out of them, add a little bit of antioxidant paste, then reattach.

Have you checked the shear pin?
If you have a solid place to attach the winch - and a second body out under the truck - what happens if you engage the winch? In other words does it pull or not. The winch on a 925 is generally powered by hydraulics, and if that is the case there really isn't...
