Hello. The wood is not very thick, about 3,2mm woos and 5mm foam that can compressed. The original handles have sharp edges and I fear they will cut leater... Welding a pipe on the alu handle can be a solution, I will think about it! Thank you Christian

Hello again. I solved the problem switching the lower spacer to the upper screws, plus adding other spacers. Now it's straight and the lock goes in a little bit more, about 3mm... Lower locker need also to be adjusted because cab was not entering correctly! Thanks a lot for helping me! Christian
