You always have 80psi? even when not running, running? during cranking, or after start?
If you are indicating 80psi with the engine running you have a problem with the hand pump/system. it's probably dumping raw fuel into the intake. You need to fix this asap.
I've got all the bells and whistles on my deuce. I run 65mph. I could run 75 if I wished but 65 keeps it off the redline and keeps speed with most traffic on the interstate.
I have written an entire long post about this topic. I have used and had water Inj on my deuce for about 5 years now and I would be lost without it. It provides much more power at far lower and safer EGT's than anything else that can be done to the truck.
there was a NG HMMWV stolen in my hometown about 2 years ago. Every single time I drove my truck for the next 6 months I got pulled over. It finally stopped but it was not fun.
Yes Really. You have a total of 11 posts. Nearly all of which come from this thread. you'd better learn to take advantage of the knowledge that other more seasoned members have to offer. If you don't then your going to spend a lot more than time and money trying to figure out whats wrong...
If your dash has a multifuel dataplate on it then it's wrong. Some bonehead put it there by mistake. I've seen dozen of A3's and I've never seen one with a multifuel plate.
The Cat 3116 is not multifuel. It is a diesel fuel engine only
Now, can it run on something other than diesel, sure...
yes and the box tells the Alt when to start charging and it cycles the glow plugs after the eng is running to try and clean them. doesn't mean I like it but thats just what it does.
The 939 LWS never had a hatch because it won't seal against anything. Thats not to say you couldn't put one on it bc they are all the same pieces but with that thing just sitting out on top of the truck there is no real use for it.
I think I've got a few of the ammo can mounts for the LWS. I...
You won't need a "CDL" bc the "C" stands for commercial. BUT YOU WILL NEED A CLASS A license with air brake endorsement. and no you can't use your 900 to take the test.
just order the crank sensor, put it in the hole and be done with it.
the crank doesn't need to sit flush. the lower pulley will sit over the top and cover the hole and the center bolt will hold the damper and pulley on. (keep it from walking off)
