Last time I looked everyone is out of stock on the bushings with the safety bar. Does anyone know if anybody has them in stock? My common sense side says the original ones lasted 40 years but my OCD self wants the safety bar just cause...
One aspect of this whole thing you guys might not be considering is if the diaphrames are bad and leaking then the air pressure goes down and the spring brakes engage and drag.
Diaphrams are fairly inexpensive and the Q2 is less than $100 also. Both can be done in half a day and probably...
Use grade 8 bolts if you are replacing them as Simp said. Anything else will bend and make you nervous. The diaphragms are not bad to replace but they will make you a bit nervous. I wore a full motorcycle helmet and made sure not to point it directly at myself. Get yourself some new...
Mine wasn’t rebuilt. It still has the temp light and as soon as it starts flashing the alarm goes off also. Engine is at normal operating temperatures. I’ve changed the failsafe box twice already with the same symptoms.

I’m assuming I have diesel in the oil pan and will find out more when I drain the oil.
Well...I got everything hooked up and NO JOY!!
The motor seems to be seized up. I even took off the radiator and put a socket on it and it doesn’t budge. Anyone got any ideas on how to try and free this up?
I will have to get some decent tires on it before driving it. I will probably go ahead and put some 395s on it assuming I can get it running.
I’m waiting for some filters to come in before I start going through the fuel system and getting everything ready to try and fire it up.
I also need to...
