That ground tree was for grounding radio system that would get added in, from what I have read.

Yeah I recall when you posted it. Both have pros and cons. Split system prevents one system from taking the whole system down. I am not worried about mounting the compressor since the 1010 had a compressor for the rear box. Dual alts already on pass. side.

If the TV cable is not set perfectly, you can toast a 700r4 in a matter of miles. It is not a kick down cable like a TH350. The TV controls the line pressure and if not right, it will cause the clutches to slip, not shift correctly and a host of other issues.

Honestly, if the are not skilled enough to figure this out, which is not much different then a civilian version under the dash, I would not let them touch it. A meter or test light and about 2 minutes at the fuse block, it's figured out.

Nice work but man it looked like a lot of work to get all of that stuff to fit. I found this system which is specifically to add A/C to CUCV's It does NOT mess with your factory heater but installs as a stand alone system up in the dash, above the heater assembly. Looks like a lot less work...

Does the Gen lights light up when you turn the key on but before you start the engine? If not, that is problem #1 as it needs those light to work for the alts to sense the ignition is on and they should start charging.

I had a problem like that and it was the vacuum modulator on the trans. Swapped out with a new one, all the shift points were back to normal.

Don't quote me but my understanding is HMMWV plugs are 24v and CUCV ones are 12v and the 24v power runs through the resistor pack on the firewall. They are not interchangeable.
