Got the email from Jim G. about the upcoming event. Indoor parts swap meet-n-greet, first show of the year to get people out of their winter doldrums. Who's planning to be there?

I did just buy it in June, but medical problems in December and the resulting bills forced a sale that I reluctantly had to make.

I'm in as usual. Not sure exactly when I'll arrive leave, and not sure what I'll be driving since I had to sell the CUCV, I may just borrow a friend's deuce and take it up there for the day, or ride with someone else again. Will advise when things get closer.

The Gonset Communicators are alive and well at the Richmond Frostfest, a large ham radio show, that I went to today. There were perhaps 6 of them for sale at the show, 4 of them at this one table. Note the yellow CD version top right, and three of the less-flashy grey models underneath...

Scratch the firewood, coming in a civvy vehicle and don't have the room for it. Looks like I need a passenger seat again. :( Arriving late Friday afternoon and leaving Saturday evening.

Is there a NAPA cross-reference of spare parts for the CUCV on here anywhere? I need to get a spare passenger side alternator belt, and air filters, and I don't know what numbers I need to give the NAPA guy.

What's the latest you can reserve spots at Weare? I know for sure I'll need a spot in the camping area, not sure if I wanna get a vendor space or not, I might decide that last minute before the ride up (depends on work, what I decide to bring to sell if anything, etc.).

Might be able to come up and visit for the first time in a couple years in the CUCV. Trying to get off work, though, so not 100% sure I'll be there.
