CUCV Air Compressor engine mounting brackets

All found in the -20p... Which, funny enough, don't have the bracket part numbers... Must be classified... :ROFLMAO:

CUCV Air Compressor engine mounting brackets

CUCVs didn't come with compressors, except the M1010, and you'll get a lot of confused replies. Probably just easier to ask for the compressor bracket for the M1010. To answer your question, you can find the part number in the TM. -10, -20(p), -34(p) are what you want...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

As much as I hate Amazon.... Ordered oil filters WIX filters (some of the best), with O-rings, for like $15... 6 - 12oz bottles of DOT5 for $38 Still working on finding inexpensive fuel line, and redoing the primary and secondary fuel filters with spin ons.

    M1009 LED Problems

Resistor based vs PWM voltage regulated. It's greek, I know.. I also linked headlights in that post... Skip the H4 housings and LED bulbs and go with LED projectors like I listed.... ;)

    Other Ojjsdfg

Might be state related. Hagerty added towing for my M934, but I had to pay for it...I think it was an extra $150/yr. A friend had Hagerty and they towed his deuce... on a rollback.. Probably violated half a dozen laws in the process.. height, weight, you name it.

Making a deuce a reliable daily driver? Help make a to-do list?

Tenative plan, is to ditch the primary fuel filter, and replace with an inline 100 micron reusable filter, then switch the factory secondary fuel setup into 2 spin ons using the 4770 base. I haven't decided if I'm gonna do a parallel setup with 2 micron filters, or a series setup with 10 micron...

    Remote brake fluid reservoir

I see it's a popular mod and makes perfect sense. I've spotted a couple universal reservoirs itself for like $20 on amazon, but I have some questions. Normally, the MC reservoir is vented to atmosphere... Now, if you get a remote reservoir, and the reservoir now has a vented cap, that means...

    M1009 LED Problems

As far as a known good working setup... Here is what I use... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NQWSF5G/ https://www.amazon.com/Headlights-Headlamp-Headlight-Wrangler-6053%EF%BC%882Pcs%EF%BC%89/dp/B07BWBRDJ5/ https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BRSSM76/...

    M1009 LED Problems

Yeah, that was 2016, and that is pretty much junk now.. The issue with some LEDs is their construction, only using resistors instead of a voltage regulation circuit (usually PWM). The other half of the issue is the wiring in the CUCVs and similar chevy trucks of that year range. They don't...

    M886 Conversion?

No reason why you can't. It's a 3 spd auto with a 318 gasser. The only thing is, parts are nowhere near as available as they are for a square body chevy. I actually prefer the cabover portion of the 886 because the extra room. Crawling through the access door on the M1010 is a PITA.

Anyone titled/registered a truck through the mail, in TX?

I think calling the tax office is the best game plan. 3 states, 3 different ways to title/register a vehicle/get a license.

Anyone titled/registered a truck through the mail, in TX?

I'm potentially looking at relocating to TX. I'm looking at titling a vehicle, and placing it in a trust. I don't wanna pay tax/title here, just to turn around a couple months later and pay it again in TX. Before I moved to WA I was able to title and register my vehicle in WA, despite being...

    guij

I've used TC-W3 and swear by it. I've seen first hand what it's done to quiet engines, to run smoother, etc on both the NHC250 and 6.2L Detroit. Optilube is supposed to be highest rated, and I believe that it's better than TC-W3, as the data supports it. However, due to cost and availability...
