LSSV clone build sorta kinda but not really

One feature that I really liked about the CUCV Blazer was the lack of a center console. I know some guys modify commercial Walmart consoles and ammo cans to fit that space, but I like the openness and easy pass thru to the rear seating area. The Avalanche has a center seat/console that isn't...

LSSV clone build sorta kinda but not really

Probably wouldn't even have to wash it, huh ? Looking for parts that swap directly to achieve "the look". Yeah, it would be a short-bedded imposter, but thats OK.

LSSV clone build sorta kinda but not really

Oh, am not new to MVs, I had n M109A3, then a CUCV Blazer (the red one with the window cages), and currently own an A3. The Blazer taught me some things that lead me to the Avalanche mod preference :)

LSSV clone build sorta kinda but not really

So I have this Avalanche with blingy wheels and running boards......I'm not a fan of chrome-plated sissy trucks.....am driven to do SOMETHING. I like the idea of taking some design cues from the LSSV : wheels + bumpers + colors. Like the one pictured.

    M109 box on M932A2

Interesting, the thought process that led you to these choices. As you are a man who actually implements ideas in hardware, you have my respect. Makes me less fearful of making similar decisions. Yes, its money spent, but we'll make more :)

    too much bandwidth required

Too complicated at any speed. There are (I just counted) Ninety-seven categories to choose from. I didn't see a forum for left-hand threaded lug nuts, I expect that is coming soon. No, no hard feelings, but I'm out. Have a Merry Christmas, and a prosperous New Year !!

    too much bandwidth required

Yeah, OK, its a slow connection, I get that and I knew that when I posted. I'm saying that the page is uneccesarily complicated, what with banners blinking and whos on and GL pictures, etcetera. Geez , with all that stuff there is a teensy weensy place to log in, THAT ought to be bigger and more...

...waiting for steel soldiers.....transferring data.....waiting for google ad......waiting for google adpage 2......transferring data..... Does our page have to bee so complicated ?? Yes, there is no issue with T1 line, but with the aircard its discouraging: I can get a latte made during the...

    Deuce driving tips

Try not to back over Prius at the Starbuck's. It wont hurt the truck none, but its alot of paperwork. Changing lanes / merging can be difficult as traffic does not want to be behind you. Other motorists will do ANYTHING to not get stuck behind you. The method that works best for me is actuate...

    Civil Lawsuit Regarding M109A3

I'm reminded of a sign at a trailer park entrance : NO VEHICLES OVER 2 TONS. An old feller resident complains : " My Cadillac weighs more than that !!"

    Civil Lawsuit Regarding M109A3

Too much legal-ese and lawyering going on here. Take a photo of the vehicle, show it to 100 random people on the street , ask "What is this?" 95 will say "Its a truck" and 5 will say "I don't know" The legal system is not necessary to invoke the obvious. I'm a 109 owner and I feel for ya, but I...

    Civil Lawsuit Regarding M109A3

I had the same issue with M109A3 and HOA : First they didn't like the truck, then they didn't like the garage add-on cause the color didn't match the house, then they didn't like my helicopter.....I don't know....they said my property that I bought and paid for (I have rights you know) made the...
