Cool setup, Was wondering what you were using for a mike and have you tried just swapping the mike and related cables with a radio that works well. 1.5 watts should get you a mile or more in most conditions. 30 watts should get you 10 miles under very bad conditions. A bad mike and or cables can...
I was never arrested they I found out I had warrants when they sent out their annual warrant roundup letters. My attorney said after what he did they will not mess with me again. He said that if they did then he would take legal action against them personally.
That came up in my case there were 2 deciding factors. The US DOT and TX DOT say anything over 26,000 is commercial and requires a special license. Some RVs are exempt or over 26,000 but still non commercial but do require a special non commercial license.
The second thing my attorney hit them...
There are people here with knowledge of trouble shooting radios but more info is needed. Some pics would be very helpful. Pictures of the antenna, the plug that hooks the coax to the antenna, the radio, the radio turned on and the display while transmitting, the back of the radio, the plug and...
After 6 years several arrest warrants a couple of different attorneys dozens countless court visits it is finally resolved. I get to keep what is left of my collection at my house. My new attorney was able to convince the states attorney that was prosecuting me that they had no case and didn't...
Voltage fluctuations and spikes are often a sign of a bad diode pack on the alternator and or a bad ground.
Have you tried-
Start the engine and let the batteries charge and engine warm up for 5- 10 min
Turn everything electrical off that you can
Set your volt meter to DC Volts
measure between...
If you have a transfer switch there are wires going to the main line inside it. I would start there when looking for wires that are always hot when the utility power is working.
There is a cover plate on the side of the injector pump held on by a small screw. Inside there is a lever that can get stuck to the right. Just spray it down with penetrating oil and move it by hand to loosen it up. That should fix it. There is no disassembly of the injector pump or changing of...
Try watching the voltmeter closely. With the engine off and the wait light on you should notice a slight bump to the right when the wait light goes off. If after starting it the meter should read slightly more to the right. Sometimes as the batteries charge the needle goes down slightly. If you...
I moved mine with a U-Haul. It worked well. The tires squeaked by on both sides with the fold down fender U-Haul. I needed to add a small amount of air to the tires to make them fit better. It was a snug fit. I chained the front and back down with a set of chains I brought with me.
It sounds like you have a hose hooked up wrong. Be sure to fix the problem before driving because you could end up blowing out your brake booster and or your power steering.
Try sending some pics of the hoses and what they are hooked to. Someone with a turbo 6.5 should be able to compare it to...
Lets not forget the federally imposed 55 mph maximum speed limit. With that in mind I understand why they would use a GM TH400 3 speed behind a 6.2 the GM 3 speed would be nearly indestructible. The 6.2 seems fine to me, I have a M998 I only drive it on city streets most have a 40 - 45 mph speed...
If it's not making noise and turns smooth I would put it back together and keep an eye out for a replacement part. It will give you time to shop around. Someone may be doing an upgrade after breaking a different hub or shaft and have exactly what you need left over...
They are in Ohio. They have very nice weather there. It can dip down below 70 at night there even in the summer! Here in Texas we rarely have the glow plug issue this time of year. We have to make sure the engine is not overheating before we start it first thing in the morning...
The last time I had a custom drive shaft made they didn't care about any of the old measurements or how much longer - shorter the shafts needed to be. They gave me very detailed instructions on how to measure the distance between the drive lines u-joints where I wanted the new shafts to go.
I...
