When my EUC finally cleared for a recent item I purchased I had a hard time getting the attendant at the pickup site. Once I finally did we made an appointment. He was on time - I guess he had to come from a different site. He was also very helpful. He went out of his way to make sure I was able...
The belt conditioner contains an acid that "softens" the belt. I was suggesting it to avoid the long discussion of pulley width depth and depth of v on the belt and the color or intended use of the belt and so on.....
I was thinking if belt dressing fixes it then he needs to get new belts and...
Was the truck missing the gap or the tooth? If it was missing the tooth then it shouldn't matter on the adapter. If the truck was missing the gap or has a double wide tooth then the adapter won't fit.
Guess I would try tightening the pulley bolt? They sell "belt conditioner" in most auto parts stores for about 5.00 a can. I would get a can and spray the belts when the engine is running. It will make it so if the noise has anything to do with slipping belts you will know right away. If that...
I don't know about the 200 amp alternator but that does sound like a alternator bearing. I would try spraying penetrating oil on the bearings while it is running starting with the one that is easiest to get to. Do not use wd40! If there is no change in sound or it gets worse instantly I would...
Have you tried to test the voltage at the start switch. I converted mine to key. You should be able to reach under the dash and unplug 1 wire at a time. One of them should have a constant solid 24 volts.
You can easily disable the fan on the m998 by unplugging the delay module and plug in the fan's hyd solenoid directly into the harness that was plugged into the delay module.
I found a couple and tried them out. Using one gets hot when the radio is on even with no sound - just back lights. Using two get warm but heat up if the squelch breaks. They get verrrry hot trying to transmit. There is also a small voltage drop leaving less than 11.5 volts while trying to...
I am going to have to try to mod a CB to 24 volts by installing a LM7812 regulator ic inside the CB. In theory it should work with just one and allow you to run it on from 12 - 30 volts direct.
The cheapest way to get 12 volts for a low power device is to use a LM7812 regulator they can be fount on e-bay for about $0.10 and can power about 12 watts or 1 amp. For charging cell phones there are a number of usb chargers that work with 12-24 volts for about $5.00. I also found a couple of...
