CUCVs had map lights? I'll have to crawl under my dash and see what I'm missing.

Military vehicle and custom car show. Catskill mountains.

It would be a great day trip for me. If the dates are reasonable, count me in with one of my rides. If you can incorporate a swap meet I'm sure it will draw more interest.

Really cool truck, thought I would share

The seller states all original. I totally disagree- The photo of it being towed shows a winch in the front, spare tire holder and a fender mounted service light. The missing winch "if it was working" is 2-K in value. Maybe that's why its been for sale for so long

    M1009 Wipers

What was the part # and or vendor for your new vacuum pump. I'm having late shift issues with my 1009 as well.

    M1009 Wipers

It did the trick for me. My pump would keep pumping too. The "not parking" was the first issue then the pump acted up. Put a new wiper motor in and never looked back.

    M1009 Wipers

You may need to replace the wiper motor with a new reconditioned wiper motor. They usually have a lifetime warranty. Also just unplug the capacitor and plug the wire plug directly into the wiper motor. No wire cutting necessary. The capacitor is not needed and may be causing your issue to begin...

It's hell when you grow old. First thing to go is your strength. Your mind and common sense will soon follow. And remember, after 60,,,, "What doesn't hurt doesn't work".
