I bought a resin one years ago before I got a real one. the resin one was broken in half by the time ups got it to me, so I sent it back for a refund and saved my $ for a real one.
I have been able to find originals for both mine but it took years. You should be able to sell these like hot cakes esp on ebay. I have set more backrests and brackets without the covers so maybe I should buy a few to outfit them and resell them.
put me down for 1 of each.
I have several drivers side inner fenders.

I have detroits in both rears of my 818 an you can defiantly tell when they lock up. it goes straight and they really begin to chew up the ground. If you have a yard you want to mulch it's perfect.
25 is my lowest without any starting aids. I'm pretty sure it would have done 20 with no problems. it never really gets any colder than that where I live.
the tm's will show you exactly how it all works. The heater must have a fuel pump to supply it fuel and a control box send power to it and the heater. You have to have it all for it to work properly.
your not going to hurt anything, if it has a lot of blow by, just keep it full of oil and you will get a nice undercoating of oil for the rest of the truck. It's a nice cheap rustproofing.
Also make sure your road draft tube is extended down below the front axle. this will keep as much off...
yup, very well insulated and they have a copper plate under the batteries that gets hot water circulated thru them to keep the batteries warm.
In the M809 5 ton setup you get 2 of them, the upper 2 batteries move inside the cab and the lower 2 stay where they were originally(rearmost box)...
GL doesn't mount tires. the military depot that last worked on the truck did this.
I also thought the tires on the A3 were NOT directional. Although they look different I thought you can run them any way you like.
