    Sellable value for a M35A3

I wish I had bought an A3 at $12 k, I would have been money ahead of where I am now restoring the A2. I do not fear the A3 auto trans : the A2 has never, ever failed to start so I don't even imagine having to push start a deuce.

Buying my first deuce... what color paint

These vehicles don't have any resale value, so paint it any color you want. Seriously : you buy it, recover it, repair it, improve it and get laughed at when you try to recover that cost when selling it. I'm painting my CUCV red...and nobody but me has to like it 8<) Example : I have $13,000...

    Deuce Injector Return lines

I'm using air brake line. Using the inserts , but I had to dremel grind the lip off of one side of the standard brass ferrules so they would seat correctly. About 2 years have passed , so leaks so far.

deuce smokes a lot from time to time

I took that preheater gizmo off of mine. There is a plunger kinda thing that developed a leak and dripped fuel directly onto the turbo, I'm thinking thats a bad thing. Starts just fine without it.

'109 to tractor conversion starts today

OK, finally decided to go for it : put the 109 in the shop today to pull the box off. Getting the 2-axis 5th wheel put on next. Then mounting the spare behind the cab ala 5-ton, with a boom so I can actually get it down from there. A fuel tank will go where the spare was, with a filter system so...
