And I like to pull the whole unit out attached to wiring, which will make it easier to unscrew / screw in the plug, probably why it gets hung up on the other wires and air lines...
Most of the other wiring is in the way when removing / installing. When I was pulling these at Glen's I took out the failsafe first and then the three lever. You can definitely do it without removal, but might be easier.. Sometimes that plug is on there pretty good, but most are hand tight...
OK, I'll bite. The flasher is on the side of the shifter (to the left of the brake) and the failsafe (buzzer) is mounted on the left side of the cab (by the fresh air vent). The only thing on the floor that would qualify would be the CTIS GPU. Can you post a picture of the area that the part...

If it were me, I'd get the threaded version, I know someone threaded his, but got the real one after. It seems we all have to get the wrong one first. My lq2 was piped different (check that loop in the picture) and I've seen several configurations out there...
