Grounds. Check the grounds and look for wiring shorts.
On the second deuce I changed out every lock washer for new ones, from Grainger, and wire brushed the rust from the area around the new bolts I installed also. Very dependable lights now.
Just to update, I got the deuce hauled in and on looking it appears that a ground wire on the starter came loose causing the engine to not turn over. Fixed the ground, started up. No torque. Blown rear head gasket.
I will replace the head gasket after finding out why the rear gasket gets...

I have been thinking a bit tonight. I have decided that if the new multi-fuel is not available, that I will thin the herd. I do not need two M35a2s and a M135. I think I might concentrate on the M135 rebuild for a while. If there is a new multi-fuel available locally, I will install it, then...
Got it running now. Seems to be fine and dandy.
A few bobbles along the way, the bolt holding the injector lines to the air compressor got left out causing some leakage of oil, replaced, the usual leaks on the hoses got taken care of quickly.
A couple of wish I had known and done that before...
I have a missing bolt on the air compressor side mount. Know what I mean?
It is leaking oil. Anyone know the size of the bolt?
What kind of compressor oil and where do I fill it would help also.
