it lookks like wire is hooked to the coil. That hole in the distributer is where the tach adapter fits. Normally there is a plug right there. Someone before you must have jury rigged the wire for a tach.

The button provides a ground for the horn. The wire can be pulled up the column without dismantling the steering box. A length of wire can be used to fish the new horn wire up the column, But it can be a PITA to do. I have done it before, and...
