I bought two harnesses. One for a multifuel and one for a gasser. The multifuel one fits the gasser engine pretty well and really helps update the harness. I believer the harness is for an early production A2. It has all the connections for the starter switch and flame heater, but has the cannon...
The boats could be from MWR (Morale, Wellfare, and Recreation). The MWR had a sale here last year, lots of jetskis, wave runners, bass boats, jon boats and party barges(pontoon boats) went for cheap!!

The hydrolic bead breaker is great... when it works. more times, i've been in units that let their bead breakers go south in a bad way. We had to use mattoxes to break down the tires. It works, take time and a good back. Just have to hit squarely between the rim and the tire or one...
The governmant probably cancelled the contract to have the systems whole systems in stock(probably got parts stockpiled)and the M35A3 ESP program is over for active duty. Check out the TM for the M35A3 to troubleshoot the loss of air while turning.
you could drill out tine screws with a small drill bit, chisel of the screwheads, then you can dril out the rest of the screws with the proper drill bit and retap the screw holes. it wony take much to drill off the screweads. i had all my screws except two twist off while i was trying to remove...
Jon,
A few more notes that I've done with my truck to make things last longer. Rubber parts, like tires and intake duct, rub down with lots of armour all or simular product. It will help return flexability to the rubber and prevent furthur cracking. I did it with my tires and stuff and stopped...
Jon,
The fuel filter is located in the gas tank. It's a pick up screen/fuel filter. An inline fuel filter near the carb will work too. I have a seethru filter installed. My fuel pump was missing and replaced with an electric pump. I ordered a new pump and put it in, just have to figure out the...

I don't have one in front of me, but try these heater fittings from Motor Mite. They sells them in their Help! line at most autoparts.

Some trucks were repowered, most were refurbished. I've seen most M35A3's in guard and reserve units. I think the reason for the extended service plane (ESP) for the M44 series vehicles, was for reserve and low priority active units to have modern drivetrains in vintage trucks ;) I know of a few...
Andy,
When you hit La, whatch your speed. All those little towns love to give speeding tickets. Exspcailly Ball, La( it's just north of pineville. Ball likes to ticket all the military vehicles if they go to fast. 2cents Wish I still lived in La to help.
As for head light doors.. 9-2320-209-20P shows the old type headlight doors and 9-2320-361-20P show the new (high mount) headlight doors. My gasser has high mount (old style) and had a winch. Also, the old headlight buckets will not work with the new style headlight doors. Ask me how i know LOL
We has this discussion about SN one day at work a couple years back. One of the guys that had been in the Unit (NG) since the 70's stated that gasser dueces had their SN's on one side and when they went thru rebuild/repower. the old SN was stamped out and a new SN was issued(maybe stamped on...
