I just pulled a set of wood seats off one of the deuces yesterday. Put on a set of fiberglass replacements.
I may contact the contractor if something does not come up around here.
Has anyone rebuilt a M151 steering gear? Where does one find the internal parts?
Are the A1 and A2 steering gears interchangeable?

I had to cut off the heads and use penetrating oil with vice grips. I have many screws with a cross pattern groove but otherwise the same as the original if you need some.
I have replaced the stock filler cap vent line with a remote brake fluid reservoir on my two deuces. Look up 'remote brake' using the search feature to see that and other posters install of these remote reservoirs. A lot of the problems discussed here will disappear.
OK, I did the search. What size fire extinguisher came in the deuce and where do I find one?
I have the brackets, they look like 10lb extinguishers but then who am I to know?
The 24" strap holds the soft top frame on the rear of the cab. The pioneer tools are in a tray under the passenger seat. I think?:?:
