    remote MC ?s

That was where I got the idea for my install. I chose under the hood as my mounting point because it was much more visible and readily available to add fluid.

    remote MC ?s

No problem. I think the total cost for the install was around $35 plus the BFS. I got that from Spruce Mountain at a great price for a couple of gallons.

Think my air pak needs a rebuild

Your tank uses a hollow hex nut rather than the normal square pipe plug. It will be much easier to remove.

Think my air pak needs a rebuild

It is the M35a2 pack. Rebuild kits are relatively cheap for it.

Think my air pak needs a rebuild

Removing the J pipe is much easier than the plug. Until you disassemble the entire unit the plug is likely to be frozen in place.

Think my air pak needs a rebuild

I found the rebuild quite easy. I used an emery cloth to clean the hydraulic cylinder, but I believe a brake cylinder hone would work much more easily. Just follow the TM. I have found the gasket for the air cylinder end cover to be a wee bit too small. I made one with a gasket cutter and...

    Driver's Seat Back Replacement

I got a NOS driver's seat back from eBay last year. I got tired of looking at it in the garage. Four bolts to remove the seat frame, took off the old back, looked carefully for hidden bolt holes in the new back, found them and opened the canvas with a pocket knife. Took about two hours...

    M151 Steering Gear Problem

As a thought, does the install of the A2 gear box and column into an A1 require more than the two assemblies you mention? I find A2 gear boxes plentiful along with the steering columns. If they interchange easily, perhaps that is the way to cure the problem?

    M151 Steering Gear Problem

Thanks. David has a real mutt. It is wired with an A2 loom and has an A2 engine. I will have to figure out which steering gear it has to know what to buy.
