Get a new sealed horn button kit. Junk the original, insert the new wire down the column, plug the new wire into the wiring loom and a couple of screws on the steering wheel and forget the horn button problems.

If this is for the M35a3 version, short air packs come up on eBay frequently for about $150. You can substitute the long M35a2 air pack if need be.

Anyone here have a really nice M211l steering wheel? I have been looking. I am thinking about ordering one from Alfa Heaven but I have no idea what they have and they do not send pics. It is always surprising what members hear have in the garage gathering dust.;)

I use either McMaster-Carr or Grainger for hardware. Both are super companies to work with and carry a vast line of hardware.
