How many quarts of DOT 5?

I keep a couple of gallons of BFS around from Spruce Mountain. First, the price is right. Second, the service and people could not be better. Finally, I do not know how long it is going to be available at that price. I normally keep stuff like this around in some quantity. Something I...

    9.00x20 Tire Question

That is the problem. It might be the once and final act of their lives. Go to the pro with a cage. You live, they live and we all get to grow older, at least for a while.

    Horn kit install???

Get a new sealed horn button kit. Junk the original, insert the new wire down the column, plug the new wire into the wiring loom and a couple of screws on the steering wheel and forget the horn button problems.

    airpack rebuild help needed

If this is for the M35a3 version, short air packs come up on eBay frequently for about $150. You can substitute the long M35a2 air pack if need be.

    9.00x20 Tire Question

I always take the tires to a pro. And, I make sure the pro has a cage. Two years ago we had a young man killed by a split rim coming apart. I do not want a deuce so badly as to endanger myself or another.

    airpack rebuild help needed

Try this thread for some help. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/deuce/35592-cleaning-up-air-pack-rebuild.html I found the major problem to be the fit for the air cylinder cap was tooooo small by a smidgen. I soaked it in BFS for a couple of days and that seemed to help. Use a brake cylinder hone...

    Bad Brake Light Switch?

One thing I forgot to mention and no one else has either, when you do the upgrade, the connections changed from a single male round plug to two Packard male plugs. So you will have to do some splicing. I do not know if there was a dual Packard connect socket upgrade to the non-air side at some...

    New Hard Tops in Crates!

I figure they will be offered at about $2k each. With shipping around $2500 to your door. Naturally, had they been bought for $50 each, the retail would be much lower, like maybe $2250.:-D

    New Hard Tops in Crates!

They went at about $633 each for 75 of them, a bit over $47,000 total. One of the more amazing GL auctions.

Patton Museum moving to Ft. Benning afterall

The 'Cross the Rhine with dry feet' sign at the museum was done by my father's squad of MP's at Remagen. It hung at his 'office' on the bridge.

    Steering Wheel?

Anyone here have a really nice M211l steering wheel? I have been looking. I am thinking about ordering one from Alfa Heaven but I have no idea what they have and they do not send pics. It is always surprising what members hear have in the garage gathering dust.;)
