Love it! Chain link fence posts - I should've saved some money when I installed my convoy light poles and done it this way.... Doing more with less! Pretty soon, since we all have been doing so much, for so long, with so little, we'll soon be qualified to do anything with nothing!

According to Cabell, no trails need to be cut - there have been crews working all winter and spring on it, and they are DONE! All we needs to do is get some more guys with green trucks up there to use the trails!

What do you have in mind for the axle replacements? The stock Dana 60 front and Dana 70 rears are pretty beefy already.... I guess you could always go Dana 70 front and Dana 80 rear. ;) The 11.00x16 XL tires look great on it, did you give it any lift or is that the stock height? Looks like...

BTW - it's a shame the original bed is gone, and the frame from the M10/M332 ammo trailer is gone as well. However, I've seen someone use a M332 bed for a bobbed deuce bed, it looked pretty neat. Might be able to save that here as well....

Wish I was so lucky to live near a fire dept. that had older stuff. All the FDs around here got 1990s and later equipment. Even the brush trucks are late model Chevy trucks. Save what you can! I'm sure the other guys here can use the parts....

They got recycled into AMC Gremlins. Then melted down into 1989 Nissans. Then melted into 2003 Toyotas. Most are still driving around in that form. ;)

So sad to see these hacked-upon half-tracks. At the very least maybe they will lend some parts to those that are in better condition. poof - you have your work cut out for you. The armor has been cut out already. ;-) But it's a process, work a little on it, take a breather, repeat.

No, we all marveled at your transformations, zout! We especially love the M43 ambulance, that was a lot of work to fix up and it just seemed to fall together for ya!

Glad that you set up so close to me at Aberdeen, it was great to see the work you guys have done to my old Dodge. Any updates post-Aberdeen? Do any more work, or are you guys taking a break from the labor to enjoy the ride?
