As an update, TM9-2320-209-34-2-1 on page 12-12 shows an o-ring (4) on the slave cylinder body. NO O-RING is included in the rebuild kits. It is a 7/8 o-ring available at the hardware store. I do not know that it is needed. The first unit I repaired did not have the o-ring. It appears it...
We removed the dust cover and used pressure cleaning to eliminate the dust and crud. Then we sprayed white lithium grease into the bearings, turned the mount round and round until it freed up. I have not checked it in some time so I do not k now how often it needs greasing. Ours sits outside...
The first pic shows the piston. It was in pristine new condition with a little nasty stuff that wipes off easily.
The second is the top of the piston.
The Third shows the interior of the cylinder with the crud and some rust.
The final pic shows the crud and some rust around the perimeter...
I have opened the second air pack I have. Took the end off of the air piston chamber.
Piston in pristine condition. Stuck. No lubricant. This one has sat a long time. I will clean the chamber and lube it. So far no need for any rebuild parts. Don't forget the lube in the air pack is put...
Any company can make errors. GL is no exception. Every company can have stupid or rude employees. GL is no exception. Finding out how to straighten out the problems with a company that we only have internet connection to is difficult at times.
Currently, I have no complaints. That is...
Everyone should have received by this time an email from me with your FedEx tracking number on it. If you have not, contact me.
I hope you enjoy the reinforcement plates.

We normally form up around 9am for a 10am start.
All are welcome to join with V V A 920 for this event.
I just bought ten from Saturn. At $38.50 each for the ends, cheapest around that I could find.
It will take a press to remove and replace them from the dog bones.
There were around 200 complete torque bars in the auction at Ft. Sill. They went for about $70 a piece. I was outbid at $75. I...
Here are a few pics to help.
The core I used is fairly typical from what I have seen. I plugged the holes with brass plugs from Ace Hardware to sandblast the exterior.
The next few shows the disassembled tower on the top of the cylinder and the pump, completely replaced.
The next shows the...
Another hot tip: The air piston is two parts, not screwed together and not connected one to the other. Mine had what appeared to be a leather gasket, replaced with a rubber gasket, which had been compressed against the two parts so long that until I got a probe into the base it would not...
I am picking the plates up on Monday and begin shipping at that time. Thanks for your patience on this. Everyone should have their plate within a week.
A nice looking install. I mounted mine vertically with the valve to change the filter.
I also used the filter with the SCA in it. Try it you will like it.
Also remember this filter kit is from NAPA and at somewhat a lesser cost. I do not know if the NAPA kit has any of the brass fittings as...
