Circuit 15 shows 23 volts to the switch. New switch arrives next week.
In the mean time, I am cleaning all the grounds and replacing bulbs and light fixtures as needed.
I have found the pig tail to the trailer receiver is cut. The receiver seems to be in parallel with the rest of the loom so...
The local generator/starter repair shop matched my starter bolt pattern to a common RV starter. $200 bucks with a guarantee of performance. Works like a champ.
The new M35 has not one light working. I have put new grounds front and rear marker lights today.
Looking at the wiring diagram, I think I should start on wire 15 leading into the light switch to see if it is hot. Then go from there. Your thoughts?
PS: I need another of the turn signal...
The final casualty count is in.
The master cylinder was leaking. The air pak was leaking air. Two leaking wheel cylinders, two cracked grease seals, two brakes inoperative and front wheel bearings completely shot.
It is now new brakes from front to rear, all but the steel brake fluid lines...
When I went to Norman, OK, to look at my truck, post auction, the Master Sergeant in charge went up to the truck and started it himself. He knew all of them, saw them driven in and, as this is a maintenance unit, he had inspected them to know what each would require for delivery to the buyer...
The final tally. Over $2K for a completely new brake system with turned drums. :shock:

Mostly it runs in parades. At other times it is used to haul debris to the dump.

I figured this one to be an orphan with the headlight and fender problems.
I noticed in bidding that one buyer was consistently over bidding me. Turns out to be Memphis.
So, I put in a bid on the one with the obvious damage. Bingo!
Got lucky, I guess. :)
I went to Norman today.
Great people. Took me out to the truck in a Gator. Nice, really nice, MSgt. with 36 years time did the tour. Said they had 93 trucks in the auction, Memphis bought 19.
Truck started on just a smidgen of starter. Missing headlight with a dent in the driver's side...
