Does anyoney have a fuel strainer for the M35 multifuel? I need one for the new deuce.

Am I a happy camper or what! Both deuces now have headlights, turn signals and flashers going! Thanks to Bjorn for writing so many helpful posts and his persona encouragement to me. Don't forget to check those grounds!

OK, I have the trailer plug out. I took the electrical tape off, cleaned off the numbers on the wire and washed it down to clean it up. I will strip back the wiring to put on a crimp connectors tomorrow. Then I will strip off the wiring on the ends of the cut harness. Next weekend I will get...

A good idea. I will give it a shot. First, I will remove the plug and wiring pig tail to make the job easier.

OK, in working on my new deuce I came across the trailer plug wiring severed. Someone bashed the rear crossmember in about four inches severing the cables. They are neatly cut. How in the world do I splice them together? Is there a way of determining which wire is connected to the other...

I take it that IF both units are working, my problem is still a ground probably in one or the other, blinker or turn signal switch. I am doing pretty good for a guy who never read a diagram or held a multimeter, till I started reading your posts. :D

OK, I got the headlights working just right. I have the marker lights working. I put on a new flasher and new turn signal switch. STILL NO TURN SIGNALS! I have put new internal/external washers on the light bases and the flasher. Still no flashing turn signal. No light on the turn signal...

OK, the headlight switch was bad. Replaced. No turn or flasher lights working. I have power going into the flasher from the turn signal. I suspect a defective flasher, now. I will check it tomorrow by replacing it.

My local rebuilder indicated that the pattern was quite common. My particular starter came off of a RV of some kind.
