The T/C brake is a parking brake not an emergency brake. A pinion brake would be a nice upgrade from the factory parking brake-just in case needed once.:beer:
Well It is done for the most part. Removed all components and installed the master cylinder from a Chevy pickup. Currently waiting on a brake line set from MM but looks good so far. Should go good with the front disks on it now.:wink:
It's actually a 1962 W/W, hardtop, heater, detroit locker, highway gears, radials. I installed front disks right before we left GA. Now I am hooking up the dual M/C and getting ready to go.:wink:
I need 1 hub (front are already disks). I can use mine but it would be nice to be mobile. Just let me know. BTW, If you go back buy the 2 rear axle shafts; just let me know how much.:wink:

If they get one from the govt, when done they are to be turned into GSA. They (GSA) are supposed to demil them prior to public sale. So no; none will be "legally" for sale in the future.:cookoo:
You know you can install split master cylinders from a late 70's early 80's chevy truck cheap and update the safety of the system while doing it? I'll dig out my stuff tonight and find the info (doing this is my weekend project anyway).
You know I read that, what is a 17 pounder? All the artillery I've seen is by size like 75mm or 3". I thought the weights went away after the civil war????
If you read all the comments there's a few clues to the location. Sounds like it's in the middle of nowhere. He said it's 20 miles to the nearest pavement and is at an abandoned gold mine. There are also some interesting (funny) comments on the trucks relating to years/engines/etc. It is an...
