Ahhh...that would work fine.....I was going to switch mine out w/longer ones when I flipped my hubs, but the $7/each price tag on new studs added up to be almost $500.
If you are going to be making hubs & selling w/studs installed.....go w/the longer ones. BUT....you can save $70/hub if you...
If the turn signal lever on the steering column is not TIGHTLY secured to the column, it wont work either. That grounds the flasher. Try tightening it up.

It is definitely a ground issue somewhere.
The front & rear studs on a deuce/5ton are identical.
What you need to do in order to use the 2 piece hemtt rims is put a budcap on the stud, mount the wheel, then use the rear lugs to hold the rim on the budcap.
The last batch that went through GL sold for over 2k each I believe.
I dont think that they are worth more than a grand....and thats only if they are in great shape (no leaks).

The ones from GL came with the oring & the nuts that bolt the 2 sides together. All that is needed is the hemtt valve stems which many people here are selling.
If you are putting these on a 800 series 5 ton....you MUST put budcaps on ALL of the wheel studs before you put the rim on! If you...
Nope....they are flat all the way across. As the tire is aired up.....it slides right across w/no issues.
Next saturday is fine with me! :) Are you bringing a trailer up w/you?
LOL ;)
Young?! I am 26 now.....I have one foot in the grave & the other one on a banana peel!
Once they are mounted, you can roll them around by yourself (slowly) & they stand upright.
At least my XZLs do.
Standing them up is the hardest part w/out hurting yourself. Make sure you have the rim laying on something above ground level! I use a dolly to lay mine on, then once the two are...
If you just won it yesterday, you can go for another week without submitting one. Plus, they send out emails warning you that the sale will be canceled before they actually do it.
I would just try from a different computer. Or just restart yours & try again.

I mounted my hemtt rims on 16-20s by myself w/no special tools.
Here is what you do....
1. Seperate 2 halves of the hemtt rim.
2. Lay the large side down on a large block of wood (so it is 6" off the ground).
3. Put a standard car oil change ramp beside the rim (cheapo plastic one from...
I was reassembling a flipped hub/drum & on the last of the ten bolts that hold the 2 together.....I stripped it. The bolt freely spins now. Since it is a major safety issue to leave as-is & reassemble....how do I fix it? Can I squirt some lock-tight in the hole & then screw in the bolt...
I think that this is a great idea. Let me know how much they end up costing.
Also....it MIGHT make more sense just to put 5 ton axles under a deuce. 2cents
