Trailered the M1Gator to Findlay for the show along with 2 mules. Still working the bugs out since restoration and first appearance at the April show in Sussex. We stopped the local John Deere dealer near the hotel to pick up a drive belt. Gave the guy a picture of the serial number, bought...
Took advantage of the nice weather and loaded up the trailer for the upcoming shows at Sussex NJ and Findlay OHIO.

A few months ago I ventured to Norfolk to pick up one of the Ametek fiberglass helmet tops. I built a plywood deck on the top of the 1102 trailer and pulled it with my f150. The trip went well. The Navy happened to be moving a carrier out to sea while I was on the bay bridge and tunnnel...

Here is a picture of my M998 towing Willies M37 to the shop to fix a stuck valve in the engine. Went about 15 miles of local road driving used the medium tow bar and the LED light bar on the back of the cab for signals. Willie removed the bed for repairs while the truck was in the shop.
The town manager in the town I frequent saw my HMMWV and was interested in one for the police force. I mentioned to him about the program to supply them to LEO's. I am looking for the information so the town can request one.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Nick

Most of the work is done in preparation to remove the old 6.2 making way for the 6.5. The overhead gantry is once again a life saver! the remaining steps to remove the old motor include disconnecting the starter from the wiring harness, and removing the torque converter...
Posted on the G today also....
Today was surely Friday the Thirteenth. On the way to pick up an m1102 trailer at Ft Mead, about 3 miles from the main gate, the engine started to really get loud, oil pressure was normal, it was cold out and the water temp was normal. Having no other choice, I...
The wooden crate arrived today! Inside was an NOS mile marker 10k hydraulic winch, a complete kit. Thanks Mark for the heads up. I have been lubing up the lower A arm bolts in preparation for the install. I also scored an under the hood jack mout and the armor plating that goes on either...
I have been working a deal on an m1038 and it has been in my garage for the work to make it ready for the road. Here is a picture of the almost finished project.
