The xfer case vent is in the top cover of the the case. Easiest thing to do is pull the sheet metal off from inside the cab to get to both of them Download the TM 9-2520-246-34. It covers both the transmission and the xfer case.

I was talking to a GL employee a while back. He had tried to lot some equipment that was on pallets in to lots of 12 pallets. The auction was in the preview stages when somebody higher up called him up and told him to pull the sale and redo them as lots of 6 pallets. Gotta make more money...

For what's its worth. I have seen a piece of all thread and some nylock nuts and flat washers used as a replacement. I think that was a field repair.:-D

Mine will do the same thing. What I've found is that the poly tubes between the injectors are starting to leak. When the system is shut down fuel leaks out and air enters the fuel system. I think that my starting issues will go away once I replace all the old poly tubing. BTW I tried...

Hopefully your situation will be resolved so that you can keep your truck. Do you have pictures ready to go or a local contact that you can take the truck to, to prove that the truck is empty? We're all pulling for you!!

It should have a tube attached to it. Length is what ever it takes to get below the front axle so the oil residue doesn't get all over it.

Same here, but I'm not 42 yet...:-P I had 1 1/2 cords of firewood in my M105 last weekend, not sure if that would fit in the ammo trailer.
