What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Finally the transformation of the M929 is done, M929 now looks like a M930A1. The spare tire mount was the biggest job, adding the 2nd valve for the winch was not bad, just took a lot of time. The bigger tires added about 7.5 mph to the truck

If that is the case you may have pinched a wire putting the panel back on.

M35A2 with the LDT 465 injection pump issue

You do not turn the screw part you just turn the two nuts. You are going to need to open open the pump and replace the screw. What it has down is shut the fuel off in the pump. That is my understanding of how it works.

Possible solution for dreaded engine stall when brakes are locked up.

I know of three trucks that do not have ABS or an air dryer, one is in my barn. The Navy and USMC trucks for the most part did not get the ABS upgrade.

    Installing a Pertronix MV-161A

I was having problems with the condensers going out all the time. Fixed that problem and I think it does run better with the MV-161A. No new plug wires.

    Installing a Pertronix MV-161A

I just did the MV-161A on my M37. Very easy to install just put it on and set the timing. 1. Just hook the two leads to the coil, red + and black - no need to lengthen them. 2. The part that goes on the rotor shift does have flat spaces on it. 3. Sorry I did not take any pics.

PTO spring brake override vs. spring brake override on an M936a1

I think for the CLD test I would use the parking brake down by the driver seat, not the override.

PTO spring brake override vs. spring brake override on an M936a1

OK here is what I have found out. When you are using the PTO for the wrecker bed use you can push and hold the PTO spring brake override and the brakes will release. Like you can pull your self out with the rear winch. (Will take two soldiers) When you engage the PTO for the wrecker bed the...

    M936 S.O.S. load hanging

There is an oil pump on the back of it, If that goes out I guess it could make the top bearing get hot. But that is just a guess.

What is “Battle Short” on a 804 genset

Battleshort (sometimes "battle short") is a condition in which some military equipment can be placed so it does not shut down when circumstances would be damaging to the equipment or personnel.
