I'm planning on doing the same for my M200A1 using some 3/4" leds from Maxxima. Have 6 amber ones on the front of my Dakota and love them. Hard not to notice them!
(Yes I have an obsession with lights along with OD iron)
Hey everyone!
I just picked up a Mep-016 from Paul (Armada) and am trying to install my 4A032 engine onto it. Am I missing a plate or something or do I have the incorrect flywheel?
The 4A032 was manufactured by Chrysler in 4-76 and model # is 4A032-II.
Make sure you wire it like I have it in my diagram so you don't fry your solenoids, just replace the 12V pump in the diagram with the 24V pump.
You should be fine.
What I think he wants to do is to run the 12V motor on 24V not run it just off of the rear battery which will result it what you said.
You could hook the pump up to 24V after you isolated the solenoid power from the pump power but you better invest in a triwall of pump motors as you will fry...
That causes the horn wire to short out in the steering column causing the horn solenoid to short out also. Not to mention the cardboard starting to smolder because your friend who put it on placed it tight against the radiator!
Fun times with the old girl, can't wait to get another one!
Hey everyone!
I'm going this weekend to go look at a M200A1 trailer. Its in good shape but is missing the nut that holds the lunette on. Does anyone know what size it is? Is it the same 1 1/8" by 16 TPI as the M105?
$34.99 plus shipping from the Napa I work at. 3 in other states, 6 in the warehouse in Indianapolis, and 28 in the warehouse in Salt Lake City as of 1:30 on 11/22/11.
I made one for our Deuce out of a 1L pop bottle and some 1/4" clear tubing similar to: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/attachments/deuce/55298d1165525811-alcohol-evaporator-block-heater-etc-alcohol_evaporator_132.jpg I then used a bike water bottle holder to mount it to the firewall.
We ran a mix of unfiltered WMO/Gas/Diesel in our Deuce for over 1000 miles and had no problems. We ran it all last winter in MI and noticed just a little more smoke right at start up, but we had also turned the pump up some.
We had the oil into a 55 gal drum and let it sit for a few days to...
