Why you should always have a oil pressure gauge on your 4a032!
Installed an oil pressure gauge into the slave plug bracket after reading about oil problems with the 4a032. Never got any pressure to show on the gauge. Removed the governor oil line, no oil, removed oil filter, still no oil...
Flashed it per the tms and got nothing, switched the voltage regulator to the spare one and still got nothing.
Have some motor problems I need to fix first. aua
Cleaned some of the paint off, had to use a DA on it! Used some scotch brites to make it nice and shiny. Put it all back together and still nothing! :confused:aua
I will try flashing it tomorrow. There is no corrosion on the commutator, just a little on the impeller, but there is a red coating/paint on it.

The hertz gauge currently reads ~56...

I have put wanted ads on craigslist saying I will pick up any WMO, gas, diesel, atf, hydraulic oil and fuel oil.
Once had a farmer call me saying he had...
I had ran straight UNfiltered WMO for almost 1000 mi in our deuce and had NO problems. It would smoke a little at start up, a little bit more when I turned the fuel up.
I stored all of my fuel for the deuce I collected in a 55 gal drum and at one point have ran a mix of off road diesel...
Or how about a different style cb? I have a Cobra WX 75 in my Dakota and love it! Everything is controlled on the mic and all you have to mount is the small box behind the dash.
My plan (when I get another Deuce) is to mount the box behind the dash then make a plate to mount the mic connector...
