I put one on a Mep-016 that needed a motor and got a spare one from a parts Mep-016 that was supposedly blowing oil out the exhaust (I haven't ran it yet). Thinking about taking the governor off of it and either buy the stub shaft from Saturn or make my own and put it on a go-kart.

It will work, I did the same thing on our deuce for back up lights but MAKE SURE you isolate one light from ground! I'll try to find some pictures of how I had mounted and wired them.

The governor on my 4a032 has a metal gear, not a plastic one.

No wanted ads in the forums, read the rules. Saturn Surplus has the governor. There is no alternator bracket for the 4a032, it never came with a charging system. Have to fab your own bracket to install your own alternator.
