The MEP-003a is diesel not gas. if voltage runs low your fuel pumps will not be able to keep up fuel pressure. Charge the batteries and see if it still does it?

Not a clue. I would recommend following the schematic in the TM . you should be able to follow where and wherenot you have power and that should show you where the problem is.

Is the 7 1/2 amp DC beaker popped? ? That would keep the panel from working. But it may also keep the unit from starting I think ??

Would still like a picture of the missing boxes. When you start the gen or if it's already running turn the start switch ( as if you were going to engage the starter) if all is set up right the starter will not engage. Hold the switch for about 30 seconds to a min. This will flash the feild...

What 2 boxes are missing? can you take pictures of the 2 boxes? have you flashed the field after adding boxes to units without? Have you checked to see if your overspeed button is popped on the speed switch? can you give us more info?

There is a little screen filter in the side of the pump. There was pictures on the website here about it and a check valve. Did you try giving it a hit of ether to see if it would fire up even if only for a min?

Any numbers on the wires? Pictures of the area ? any other info you could provide?

Sorry I'm just seeing this today for the first time . On my MEP-004a and 005A I have to turn on the battle short switch to get them to prime. then turn it off and then start the units. Where are you checking the voltage at? You could have a bad suppression Cap on 1 of your pumps?

Possibly something in the air compressor? ?

My braded line between the engine and frame had a pin hole in it and wouldn't build up past 60 psi. installed a new line and all is good. You couldn't hear mine leaking. But I sprayed some wd40 in the intake to the air compressor it showed me where it was leaking with a big mist .

Ok I have a update. 1 of the things I read in the manual talked about the magnetic pickup switch to show the control proper RPM for a flash. So I pulled the 1 connector out to measure resistance. went to remove the second 1 it wouldn't budge. after some brute force it came apart and it was...
