I have left the frame full length, it worked out perfect for the 9' M105 bed. I ended up with about 11" between the cabs, looks like there will be plenty of leg room, and of course I am planing on sliding the drivers seat back for the big guys. Here is a few pics with the bed set on temporary...

It will have a price tag on it, but plan on driving it, but I said that about the last truck I built for myself, and only got to drive it 2 times before someone else wanted it worse than I did:-D

    Double Deuce crew cab

Got some more done on it yesterday, we got the top pretty much done, I thought it turned out pretty good. I used a 4' wide piece of 16 gauge for the splice, and then added 3 struts across the top to stiffin it up out of 1-1/2 angle. Makes a good solid top out of it that way, I put about a 1.5"...

Couple more pics of the truck, Got the floor finshed and the outsides patched in. I also got the rear cab mount installed. I cut the top and rolled up a 4' piece to join the two. Hopefully I will get the top and center posts all done, and maybey I can move on to some steps and the fuel tank...

    Double Deuce crew cab

I was planning on doing something like that, I have some square tubing I was thinking about tying into the upper post, I plated it with 1/8 steel, and coming down at an angle to the floor. It did turn out alot more solid than I figured on it being, mainly because of all the bends and 1/8 plate I...

Haspin 2009: SS 10th Anniversary Rally June 10-14

Last weekend we picked out a M35A2 to take to haspin, so we took it on a little test run in the woods. Of course like most of my trips to the woods turn out we had to walk back. I have about 15 winch trucks sitting here on the place and we took one of my future parts trucks out, it has a knock...

    Double Deuce crew cab

I have been there myself many times. But now that I am doing this full time I can justify some tools like this. Its different when you are just building one or two trucks, its not worth the expense. But when you work on these things for a living and have employees working for you time is money...

    Double Deuce crew cab

Few more pics, quite a big job stripping out the donor cab from the parts truck. I removed the firewall and setup on the truck as seen in the first couple of picks. The front of these cabs are about 8 " narrower than the back, so I split it about 4 " on each side. I did 2 cuts instead of one...
