Also, was the pt pump setup different for the wrecker?
I know there is a clutch engagement and I already have the plans to tackle that along with changing the transfer from manual engagement to push button. Parts will be ordered once I get finial measurements done.
A lot of changes being...
What's the benefit of transfer over transmission.
I would like to run a generator on the pto on one and hydraulic pump on the other for winching.
Biggest thing is I would like to have a live pto if available.
So while cleaning out the cab and the transfer and transmission I noticed the pto plate on the transmission. I've heard of there being a pto off the transfer, is this true?
As far as pto options on the transmission, what options do I have if I were to add one and is it a live pto or stationary...
Problem with solid state isolators is that there is a reverse voltage on diodes. It's usually less than 1 volt but if you don't use the vehicle every day you can still end up with dead batteries.

When we got there he had a smile from ear to ear. When I asked him if he wanted to drive first I...
It definitely will be now. We were crawling under the truck filling air lines trying to figure out what was leaking and my buddy found an unused hard line that I can only guess was disconnected when the abs upgrade was done but not taken out as cutting a few tip ties would have been to much.
Pics of the setup so we can point you in the right direction.
You cops take some sand paper to the shaft under the spring to clean it up. Use some high grit. Also take a multimeter to it and verify it is getting a good connection when the button is pressed.
