If you need a dedicated high ampereage supply, just add a 10 gauge switched, fused wire to the positive output in the battery box. If you need just a few amps, just add a 1 to 2 Packard connector in the output side of your accessory switch.

Use either one. Dot 3 worked fine for 40 years. Of course you can use the smell and taste test to find out what you have in there and then add that type if you are not purging the system. Look for yellow labels which indicate that Dot 5 has been used.

It has a resistor for the dash lights built in and that generates some heat. I am assuming you have the 3 lever switch and not the new electronic burn down the truck switch. Of course there in MN, anything above zero is warm.

The standard Budd two ended wrench is part of your on board tool kit in the box on the left side. When you take the body off, don't forget the trailer connector plug is bolted to the body...along with the taillight harnesses.
